Written affirmative action plans are required of employers who employ fifty (50) or more employees and have contracts, subcontracts (and/or some grants) with the federal government in excess of $50,000. Comprising over 100 pages of statistical and narrative material, these plans must be maintained on an annual basis.
The federal government has now increased funding for the auditing of affirmative action plans. Innovative compliance and enforcement procedures have also been instituted to audit company plans with little or no notice!
EANE has customized affirmative action services to meet any need. Choose from any of the following:
Affirmative Action Audits
Do you think your company could withstand an affirmative action audit from the federal government? Well, its better to find out before it is too late! EANE can evaluate your company's affirmative action plan as well as your company's employment policies, practices and recordkeeping to determine if your organization is meeting all of the prevailing federal affirmative action laws and regulations. In doing so, EANE will prepare a written report with its assessments, conclusions and a suggested action plan that will get your company on the road to compliance.
Affirmative Action Plan Design
Affirmative action plans can take up to 100 hours to create. Don't have the time to create an affirmative action plan? Looking to outsource? EANE can design a comprehensive affirmative action plan that reflects your organization while addressing the necessary federal laws and regulations. Alternatively, if you have an incomplete affirmative action plan, EANE can design any of the necessary reports in order to complete your existing plan.
Affirmative Action Plan Review and Editing
Numerous regulatory changes have been implemented that have forced employers to revamp their existing affirmative action plans. EANE can examine and edit your company's existing affirmative action plan to ensure that it is not obsolete or incomplete.
On-Site Affirmative Action Plan Design and Maintenance Training
EANE can train your personnel on how to generate the required statistical reports for affirmative action purposes and/or provide assistance on how to write an affirmative action plan.
Inaccurate or incomplete affirmative action plans can result in the termination of government contracts already in effect and will disqualify you from future government contract opportunities. That is lost revenue to your company! And contrary to popular thought, any company (large or small) can have their plan audited.
