This program provides participants with an understanding of the basic concepts in the benefits field including health & welfare, retirement, and medical spending plans. The program includes up-to-date and relevant basic design, legal and administrative considerations. Individuals will participate in skill-building exercises to enhance their understanding of the material.
Target Audience
HR generalists and new benefit specialists responsible for planning, administering and communicating employee benefits plans. Participants should have 1-3 years of experience in benefits-related functions. This program is also appropriate for anyone who supports the employee benefit function, or who would like a refresher.
