Have you been thinking about taking the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Exam?

More and more employers are recognizing, valuing and even requiring their HR Professionals to obtain this prestigious designation.  Get the respect that you deserve...on the exam, the HR Certification Study Group Course through the Employers Association, and the strategies that will prepare you in successfully passing the exam.

The PHR, SPHR and GPHR Eligibility requirements are going to change beginning with the May-June 2011 exam testing period. Currently the eligibility to sit for the PHR exam is two years exempt level Human Resources experience and while it also two years for the SPHR and GPHR, its is strongly recommended that candidates have six to eight years exempt-level Human Resources experience.

The PHR eligibility criterion requires either one year of demonstrated HR experience along with a Master’s degree, two years of demonstrated HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree or four year of demonstrated HR experience with less than a Bachelor’s degree. The SPHR eligibility criterion requires either four years of demonstrated HR experience along with a Master’s degree, five years of demonstrated HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree or seven years of demonstrated HR experience with less than a Bachelor’s degree. The GPHR eligibility criterion requires either two years of demonstrated Global HR experience along with a Master’s degree, three years of demonstrated Global HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree or four years of demonstrated Global HR experience with less than a Bachelor’s degree.

If you are interested in sitting for the exam this Fall, we have informational briefings on the testing process and preparational study groups scheduled 8:30 am – 10:00 am in our three office locations.
