This program introduces you to different position evaluation methodologies and focus on the use of the National Position Evaluation Plan (NPEP). NPEP, the first point factor position evaluation plan developed in this country is easy to understand, reliable, valid and enjoys broad acceptance nationally and across industries. Participants will practice evaluating positions within their organization to see how the system works.

 

Target Audience

Human Resource, Payroll, and Finance professionals responsible for position description composition and position evaluation.

Learning Objectives

• Gain the knowledge and ability to evaluate positions using each
 
of the three units of the NPEP system
• Understand the various methods to establish a pay system that
  provides both internal and external equity
