Professional Staff Profiles
 Meredith Wise, SPHR, Meredith has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resource Management. Prior to joining the Association, she spent 15 years as a Human Resources Manager/Director at various financial institutions. Prior to assuming the responsibilities of President, Meredith's position at EANE involved answering hotline calls, assisting members with a diverse range of benefit, employee relations, and compensation projects; and conducting human resource based training programs. As President, she provides leadership to the organization as it continues to move forward on a number of initiatives designed to enhance services and benefits to member companies. She is also working collaboratively with a wide range of other organizations.
Meredith has a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Vermont and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Society of Human Resource Management. | | |  Mark R. Adams, Esq., SPHR, Mark is a Cum Laude graduate of Catholic University in Washington, D.C. He received his law degree from Western New England College and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar. He has served members of the Employers Association since 1990. Mark is one of the primary editors of the Association's newsletter, directs the association's wage and salary survey programs, and develops and directs the association's affirmative action services, 125 benefits administration and reference checking services. A certified trainer with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), Mark not only trains on the subject of sexual harassment but also trains on such diversified subjects as COBRA, affirmative action, family and medical leave, and other employment/legal related matters. Mark also provides informational assistance to members as a primary supporter of the association's hotline service. | | |  Susan Miller,Ms. Miller is responsible for developing, conducting, and customizing training programs for our member companies. Susan's training background includes team building, problem solving, total quality, work flowcharting and process improvement, as well as leadership and supervisory training. She works with large and small organizations training hundreds of employees in culture change, continuous improvement and management development.
Susan's training background is strengthened by over seventeen years of hands-on management experience with John Deere. Ms. Miller holds a Business degree with a focus in Quality and Productivity. | | |  Patti D'Amaddio, SPHR, joins the Association with twenty years of experience as a Human Resource generalist, functioning for over fifteen of these years within executive and senior HR leadership positions.
Patti has been associated with large employers within the manufacturing environment and most recently with a nationally based provider of technical outsourcing services. In each capacity, Patti has been responsible for managing the full spectrum of Human Resource services. Patti brings particular strength to the team in the disciplines of compensation and benefit plan design, labor and employee relations.
Patti completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her Masters of Business and Human Resource Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). | | |  Michael Seabury is an experienced training professional with extensive knowledge in instructional design and training delivery. Mike's areas of expertise are conducting needs analysis and developing programs for organizational performance, project management, team building, and interpersonal communications skills. His training background includes serving as an instructor at the U.S. Coast Guard Technical Training Center. As the Training and Development Consultant for the LEGO Company, Mike developed employee competency models and employee development programs that were used globally as well as developing and delivering leadership and professional development training. Mike also has manufacturing experience as a team leader, production supervisor and production training coordinator. | | | 
Dave Sibley, SPHR, Dave is a Phi Beta Kappa honors graduate from Amherst College and comes to EANE with over 20 years of Human Resource and Labor Relations experience. Prior to joining EANE, Dave was the Human Resources Manager at Kennametal Inc.'s Greenfield Tap Plant (Greenfield Tap & Die) and was responsible for its labor relations, benefit administration, and environmental, health, and safety issues. Dave also has extensive experience in collective bargaining and union contract interpretation and compliance. Prior to his tenure at Kennametal, Dave served as the senior labor relations officer with the Boston and Maine, Maine Central, and Springfield Terminal Railroads. Dave will be advising and assisting member companies through the EANE Hotline as well as applying his talent and experience to Special Projects. | | |  Karen Smith, Esq.,SPHR, provides regulatory and legal compliance support for our member companies. Additionally, Ms. Smith develops and conducts a wide range of seminars and training programs focusing on employment, labor and benefits law.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a specialty in Human Resources and Labor Relations from the Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Western New England School of Law. Karen is a Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination Certified Trainer on Discrimination and Harassment Prevention. Karen has obtained her Senior Human Resource Professional designation from the Society for Human Resource Professionals and an Advanced Certificate in Employee Benefits Law from the Institute of Applied Management and Law.
Karen is also a member of both the American Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Division. Before and while obtaining her degree from Ohio State, Karen practiced nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse. |
