Recruiter Position - Yankee Candle Company 2 27 2007

Job Summary:

This is a great opportunity for an outgoing, self-directed individual with flexibility, enthusiasm and self-motivation! This position is responsible for the recruitment of exempt and non-exempt positions through the development of effective working relationships with Yankee Candle hiring managers.

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing candidates for all levels (entry level to senior management) to support staffing needs in a fast-paced, growth environment. Incumbent will develop and maintain an effective recruitment advertising program; select cost-effective recruiting sources, design and place targeted internet and print advertising, as well as attend off-site job fairs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Prior recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-site environment. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Ability to utilize internet search tools, as well as non-traditional and sourcing methods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to interact effectively with the public and all levels of management.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects while effectively self-prioritizing the workload.
  • Strong verbal, written and platform communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential information.

Notice:

Hours:

First Shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Flexibility in work schedule is required including the ability to work extended hours, weekends,

and holidays as operational need may require.
