Our 2009 survey provides feedback from 214 companies. Personnel practice data is broken out based upon their applicability to employees in the follow classifications:
- Nonunion: Non-unionized full-time non-exempt employees
- Union: Unionized full-time non-exempt employees
- Sales: Sales professionals (whether inside or outside sales)
- Exempt/Supervisory: All employees defined as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) for wage and hour purposes (including both supervisory and exempt non-supervisory positions)
