EANE :: Surveys :: 2011 Labor Grade Rate Range Survey

2011 Labor Grade Rate Range Survey

2011 Labor Grade Rate Range Survey
This survey is a snapshot of rate range minimums, maximums and averages of participating organizations who utilize the National Position Evaluation Plan grading system for their positions. Among some of the assessments that are made in the survey include:

Actual Average Pay: Provides the estimated actual average pays within grade rate ranges. This information may be beneficial particularly when comparing it to grade rate range mid-points.

Progression Rate: The average percentage difference between grade levels progressing from minimum to minimum, mid-point to mid-point, etc.

Range Spread: The percentage difference between grade minimum and maximum.

Trend/Regression Line: The "best fit" straight line through a given population of data points comprised of Labor Grade mid-point values compared with dollars of pay. The interval used is the "Least Squares Formula."

Grade ranges, mid-points, estimated actual average pays by grade, and average and trend comparisons are also provided over a series of years as appropriate. Comparisons of Labor Grade Rate Range Increases are also studied and compared over a series of years along with Progression Rates. Tables are shown that compare jobs in the Production, Maintenance and Service areas, the Clerical, Technical and Supervisory areas, and the Supervisory, Professional, Administrative and Sales positions.
