HR Measures and Audit

A Human Resource Review will help you get the most from your HR programs and reduce the risk of costly litigation. Like a financial audit or review, HR Measures provides an overview of your current practices and recommends ways in which they can be improved. It is a non-threatening way of uncovering your HR strengths and weaknesses. The success and profitability of your organization is linked to the quality of your human resources programs. The HR practices of your organization needs may not be in place, or existing programs may not comply with federal and state laws. For example, does your organization have:

  1. Legally defensible recruitment and hiring strategies?
  2. Effective methods of compensating employees?
  3. Appropriate record-keeping processes?
  4. Well defined policies, procedures and practices?

HR Measures is a service designed to help you get the most from your HR programs and reduce the risk of costly litigation. Like a financial audit or review, HR Measures provides an overview of your current practices and recommends ways in which they can be improved. It is a non-threatening way of uncovering your HR strengths and weaknesses.

What will EANE's HR Measures Do for Your Organization?

EANE's review will examine various HR functions:

  1. Staffing (Recruitment and Selection)
  2. Compensation (including Payroll)
  3. Training and Development
  4. Labor and Employee Relations
  5. Health and Safety
  6. Record keeping and Reporting
  7. Benefits Administration

HR Measures will examine all of your HR programs in some detail and identify practices that should be introduced, modified, or eliminated. It's a way to help you learn if you are getting the most from your HR practices and programs.

How will HR Measures be Conducted?

Using a standardized format, the EANE consultant will conduct an in-depth interview with your designated HR representative. The consultant will also review basic written materials and records to further learn about your practices. The consultant can also meet with other management individuals (whom you can designate) to enhance the process. The basic process can be customized to fit any unique requirements or interests you may have.

What will You Get from EANE's HR Measures?

The cost of HR Measures includes:

  1. On-site interviews to identify your basic human resource practices and programs
  2. A general review of written policies, handbooks, and other HR materials
  3. A written summary report that outlines concerns and recommends areas for improvement
  4. A final Conference to review the report and discuss specific action steps
