High performance teams are able to increase the efficiency of work processes and generate innovative ideas that foster the competitive edge in a dynamic work environment. In this 2-day program, team leaders will learn and practice the skills to build a more productive and cohesive work team. This will result in improved relationships, fewer conflicts, effective problem solving and, ultimately, greater productivity.

Target Audience
This 2-day program is for leaders of departmental, cross functional, or project teams who may or may not have direct authority over team members. The content of this series is also appropriate for individuals in management / supervisory roles moving from a traditional organization structure to a team-oriented environment.

Learning Objectives
• Understand the characteristics of a high performance team
• Develop team ground rules to work effectively
• Complete the DiSC Personal Profile System
• Learn methods for adapting to the behavioral style of others
• Learn the four dynamic stages of team development
• Learn a five phase meeting management process
• Identify and overcome communication barriers
• Learn techniques to effectively deal with difficult behaviors
• Select appropriate methods to resolve team conflict
• Define the six-step problem solving model
• Learn and practice the variety of techniques for fact finding and for generating ideas
• Design action plans for implementing team solutions
