The Employers Association of the NorthEast (EANE) and Manufacturing Alliance of Connecticut (MAC) have joined forces, effective July 1st.
MAC, as a division of EANE, will continue to function as the voice of manufacturing in Hartford through an agreement with lobbyists Gaffney Bennett & Associates. To help ensure a smooth transition in delivery of services, MAC staff member Don Marold will continue with EANE and MAC retired president, Frank Johnson, will remain as a consultant.
MAC members will benefit from EANE's employer HOTLINE, comprehensive range of learning, and all of EANE's services and solutions. EANE expands the depth and strength of its member base in Connecticut by rounding out its footprint in the NorthEast, establishing greater capacity to deliver value in the areas of human resources, organization development, regulatory/legal compliance and employee training and development.
Meredith Wise, president of EANE, said "This merger advances our mission of providing employers - including manufacturers - with access to quality, bottom-line-focused management services designed to help them achieve their goals. We have enjoyed an excellent working partnership with the Manufacturing Alliance of Connecticut over the years. We are confident the transition will be seamless for MAC members."
