EANE Member Organization Holiday Cheer Campaigns

Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee

Beneficiaries | Youth in Chicopee, MA

Organization’s Call to Action | The simple things mean everything to kids who are struggling right now: A healthy snack, a hot meal, a device to participate in school, an adult who will be there no matter what.

This Giving Tuesday, your donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee is a simple act that will make a big impact for kids in our community who are counting on us. While so much feels complicated right now, your donation is an easy way to help kids through the challenges they’re facing today to ensure great futures are still possible tomorrow.

Beneficiaries | The participants of MHA’s Respite Program, which includes our homeless population, people with intellectual disabilities, rehabilitation services and more

Organization’s Call To Action | “Good To Go,” is a program to help every individual who arrives for emergency respite care with basic personal care items. The plan is to provide these items in a sturdy tote bag or backpack so, when permanent housing is arranged, each person can simply pack their own things in their own bag. In short, they’ll be Good To Go. Items needed include toothpaste, soap, shampoo, lotion, socks and any other personal care items. Donations can be picked up or dropped off at MHA by contacting Kim Lee at [email protected].

Riverside Industries, Inc.

Beneficiaries | Adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 33 towns/cities throughout Western Massachusetts

Organization’s Call To Action | As we move towards the end of 2020, and reflect on what has occurred for the entire world, and what 2021 will bring us, we cannot forget about the strength of hope.
On March 17, 2020, Riverside Industries went unknowingly, into a 4-month shutdown. We stood together as a team. We embraced and faced new challenges daily; created remote services to stay connected to our clients, and never lost sight of our mission. Your support for our mission will lift our spirits in knowing that, together, we are and will continue to be RiversideStrong.
When we reopened our doors on August 3rd to a small group of clients, tears of joy were on the faces of all. The journey will be long until we are whole, again, but this is a glimmer of light seeing that we are on our way to rebuilding.
Riverside is quite fond of being in the heart of the community. 2020 has been a challenge for all of us. 2021 will mark Riverside’s 53rd anniversary of empowering individuals to live rich and full lives. Your support will help us to navigate the financial impact of COVID and sustain services. Riverside believes in what we do, and knows that with your help, we will continue our mission for another 50 years. Thank you.
