Lean Tools of 5S In Safety Culture  |  Ensuring that safety and operational processes are rock-solid and that spaces are clean & organized is a big part of keeping everyone in the workplace safe. As oftentimes it’s “the little things” that we didn’t even notice that wind up costing us the most.
In this session, we will talk about the Lean tools of 5S and Mistake Proofing, and how each can positively influence your Safety Culture:

Mistake Proofing

• Level 1  | Stop the defect from reaching the next operation
• Level 2  | Detect the defect as it is being made & remove or quarantine it
• Level 3  | Prevent the defect from occurring

The Lean methods of 5S and Mistake Proofing are simple tools that can help your team identify those not-so-obvious ways that could wind up getting someone hurt.
