As Connecticut has now legalized and regulated the recreational use of Cannabis in the nutmeg state, employers may be wondering how it impacts their operations. While the employment provisions do not take effect until July 1, 2022, employers need to begin to evaluate its impact now in order to be able to effectively address their safety and business objectives behind this sweeping legislation and the wrinkles in this law that are different from other states.
