Paving the Way for Emerging HR Professionals

Think back to when you first started your professional career…

It’s a point in your life where step into the unknown, with untapped potential waiting to be discovered. You are navigating new responsibilities, absorbing an abundance of information, and striving to prove your value in a foreign place. For some of you, this may be a distant memory. For others, potentially someone you know, this is their present reality. 

With predictions of significant generational shifts expected to occur in the workforce and approximately 32% of professionals making career changes throughout their lifetime, there is a pressing need to foster the growth and development of those entering into new professions to ensure the success of our future workforce and talent pool.

This led the team at EANE to ask an important question – Are emerging HR professionals receiving the guidance and professional development support they need to navigate this pivotal stage in their career? How are we catering to those who are less experienced in the world of HR and building up their knowledge base? 

With this discussion, the EANE Emerging HR Professionals Network was born.

Our mission is to create a supportive environment that fosters the growth and development of new HR professionals while also offering them a lasting network of peers for ongoing collaboration. Through this network, emerging HR professionals will find their biggest cheerleaders and a group of advocates. 

Individuals with 0-4 years of HR experience are invited to join our monthly roundtable sessions that are specifically designed to enhance their foundational HR knowledge and allow them to engage in collaborative discussions led by an EANE HR Pro. Roundtable topics are focused on trending HR news and local compliance updates, professional and leadership development, and participant suggestions. These sessions are designed to fit the ongoing needs of the participants, so each session will appear different. Additionally, our emerging HR professionals will have access to invitation-only networking events to get to know their peers and build lasting connections with the team at EANE.
