THIS CLASS IS OFFERED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE EMPLOYER’S NETWORK
The Algorithmic Compass: Ethics in the Age of AI is a practical, case-driven course that helps professionals identify and manage ethical risks when adopting AI in the workplace. Beginning with a reflection on everyday technology use, the course builds shared language around core principles—fairness, accountability, transparency, privacy, and safety—and applies them to real business scenarios. Participants analyze dilemmas from HR (screening, performance, monitoring), customer operations, marketing, and product development, comparing alternative responses and their implications for people, compliance, and brand trust. The course emphasizes workable solutions: governance guardrails, human-in-the-loop controls, vendor due diligence, documentation, and measurable monitoring. Each participant leaves with a tailored action plan to address priority ethical challenges in their organization.
