Employees in today’s workplaces are experiencing a high volume of micro-aggressions, increased mental health issues and decreased communication between employees and people leaders. HR and safety professionals, as well as organization leaders, need to prioritize workplace safety as a key initiative in 2024. EANE’s workplace violence prevention partners from PASS, Protective Advanced Safety Services, are presenting a half-day mini course in workplace safety that will focus on 3 core strategies:

  • CALM – De escalation tactics to reduce micro and severe aggression in the workplace
  • Who’s Coming to Work? Understanding the implications of mental health in our workplaces today
  • Preventing severe incidents of violence in our workplaces

Learning Objectives

Attendees at this half-day workshop will gain an understanding of how to prepare your organization using preventative strategies such as updating your policies, creating safety committees and conducting communication drills with your teams. You will learn practical, real-world approaches to the most common threats facing our workplaces today.
