Coaching Services for Employees, Leaders & Teams

Your people are your greatest asset. But even the best need guidance to grow, lead, and perform at their best. EANE’s Coaching Services provide the expert support leaders, teams, and employees need to thrive.

Coaching for every level of your organization

Executive coaching. Confidential one-on-one coaching for senior leaders. Strengthen leadership presence, enhance decision-making, and give your executives a sounding board for the decisions they can’t talk through anywhere else.

Leadership development coaching. For emerging and mid-level leaders, including strong performers stepping into their first leadership role. Coaching helps new leaders make the shift from doing the work to leading the people who do it, and it pairs naturally with our leadership training programs.

Performance and career coaching. One-on-one support for employees working through workplace challenges, setting goals, or building a path forward. Often the difference between losing a good employee and keeping one.

Team coaching. When a team keeps circling the same conflict, or collaboration has gone quiet, a coach works with the group to rebuild trust, accountability, and honest communication.

What is executive coaching?

Executive coaching is a one-on-one working relationship between a leader and an experienced coach, built around specific goals and grounded in confidentiality. The International Coaching Federation describes coaching as “a thought-provoking and creative process,” and that’s what it feels like in practice: the coach asks hard questions and gives the kind of candid feedback leaders rarely get inside their own organization. Over a series of conversations, the leader builds self-awareness and changes the habits that were holding them back.

Coaching is different from training, which builds skills in a group setting, and from mentoring, which pairs someone with a more senior colleague for general guidance. A coach works on one leader’s real situations in real time. Coaching also differs from therapy; it’s forward-looking and focused on work goals, and a good coach knows where that line sits.

How a coaching engagement works

Every engagement is custom, but the arc is consistent:

  1. We start with your goals. Before any coaching begins, we talk with you about what success looks like, for the leader and for the organization.
  2. We match the leader with the right coach. Fit matters. We match each leader with a coach based on their situation and goals, and every EANE coach brings years of their own leadership experience.
  3. We establish a baseline. Where it helps, an engagement can start with a 360 evaluation or assessment so the coaching works from evidence instead of impressions.
  4. The coach and leader meet regularly. Sessions are confidential and anchored to the goals set at the start.
  5. You see the progress. You’ll know how the engagement is tracking against its goals. What’s said inside sessions stays between the coach and the leader; that confidentiality is what makes coaching work.

Why Choose EANE?

Our coaches have led. Every EANE coach brings years of their own leadership experience to the conversation. They’ve sat in the chair your leaders sit in.

We know your context. We support hundreds of member organizations across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, and we train their leaders year-round. Your coach understands the world your leaders work in.

Built around your goals. Each engagement is scoped to your organization’s goals, at the length and format those goals require.

Coaching connects to everything else we do. If an engagement surfaces a training need, a team issue, or a succession question, the rest of our team is already here.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What does an executive coach do?

An executive coach meets one-on-one with a leader to work on specific goals: stronger decision-making, better communication, more presence, a habit that needs to change. The coach challenges the leader’s thinking and holds them accountable between sessions. The coach guides the process; the leader does the work, and that’s why the growth lasts.

How much does executive coaching cost?

It depends on the length of the engagement, the format, and whether it includes assessments like a 360 evaluation. We scope every engagement with you upfront so you know the investment before anything starts. No surprise invoices.

How long does a coaching engagement last?

Long enough to change real habits, which is months, not weeks. The length depends on the goals; we’ll recommend a duration when we scope the engagement with you, and we won’t stretch it longer than the goals require.

What stays confidential?

You’ll always know the engagement’s goals and how progress is tracking. What’s discussed inside sessions stays between the coach and the leader. That boundary is what lets a leader be honest about what they’re struggling with, and it’s the reason coaching works.

What’s the difference between coaching and leadership training?

Training builds skills in a group setting and works best when several leaders share the same gap. Coaching is one-on-one and built around a single leader’s goals and situations. Many organizations use both: leadership training for the foundation, coaching to help an individual leader apply it.

How do we know if the coaching is working?

Every engagement starts with agreed goals, so you’re measuring against something specific. You’ll see it in the progress check-ins and in changes the leader’s colleagues notice. When an engagement starts with a 360 evaluation, we can re-measure the same behaviors later in the engagement.
