The Sheraton, Monarch Place in Springfield, MA is Global Biorisk Advisory Council^® (GBAC) as of January 2021. The GBAC helps organizations and businesses prepare for, respond to, and recover from biological threats, and biohazard situations and real-time crises. We offer education, training, certification, response management, and crisis consulting for situations where environments require a much higher level of cleaning, disinfection, and restoration.

Additionally, the venue has installed an AtmosAir Filtration System, which will provides the purest inside air in our meeting rooms, guest rooms, and public space. AtmosAir kills 99.92% of germs, bacteria and viruses in the air through filtration. Handheld electrostatic disinfectant devices are also used in the venue’s public spaces for additional sanitation.
