Cheers to John Henderson: Retirement Announcement

By John Henderson

I want to take this opportunity to let you know that I have made the decision to start the next chapter of my life – some call it retirement – I call it a new adventure.

I will be stepping out of my role as Director of Learning & Development at the end of this year. However, I’m excited to share that I will continue to work with EANE in a new capacity, delivering training, assisting with MA workforce training grants, and supporting special projects as they arise.

Being part of EANE has enriched my life immensely and my fellow staff members are truly family to me. I have grown personally and professionally working side-by-side with them and engaging with our wonderful members.

I am proud of what has been accomplished during my tenure at EANE. We have taken our conferences to a higher level, enriched the lives of so many of the staff from our member companies and customers, and, learned how to effectively deliver training through a global pandemic.  On a personal level, I have touched over 1,250 lives delivering the program “Becoming the Totally Responsible Person” and I know the impact for them has been both personal and professional.

As I look ahead, I’m excited for the future of Learning & Development at EANE. The search is already underway for a new Director, and I look forward to working alongside them as they step into this important role.

I have developed great relationships with many of you and hope that even when I step down that those relationships remain strong. I am grateful that I have had this opportunity.

All the best,

John
