The Mutual of America Foundation Community Partnership Award provides three national awards of $20,000, $30,000, and $50,000 to nonprofit organizations demonstrating strong, results-driven partnerships.

Open to nonprofits in all 50 states (and not limited to Mutual of America clients) this highly competitive opportunity recognizes organizations that can show measurable impact, scalability, and true cross-sector collaboration.

In this quick 20-minute session, we’ll introduce how the award works, what evaluators are looking for, and how nonprofits can begin positioning their partnerships to stand out among applicants nationwide.

Speaker:
Michael R. Braney, CRPS, Regional Sales Director, New England at Mutual of America, works closely with nonprofit and mission-driven organizations on financial and retirement strategies.

Mutual of America is a leading provider of retirement and investment solutions, specializing in 403(b) and 401(k) plans and customized financial services for organizations and individuals. Mutual of America was founded in 1945 to provide employee benefit programs for employees of nonprofit organizations, who were excluded from the Social Security Act. Although they now serve for-profit as well as nonprofit organizations, of the more than 16,000 group retirement plans for which they currently provide services, more than half are plans of nonprofit organizations.

Since 1996, the Mutual of America Foundation Community Partnership Award has recognized outstanding nonprofits in the United States that are making remarkable contributions to their communities.
