Companies in Massachusetts and Rhode Island that pay into the Unemployment Insurance Tax and are in good standing have funds available to use. All for-profits contribute. If you are a non-profit that uses the contributory method to finance unemployment insurance, then you’re eligible as well. Connecticut’s Manufacturing Innovation Fund provides training dollars to businesses classified as manufacturers under NAICS guidelines.
